Charge Conference season in the Harpeth River District will run mid-September through early December.

ACCESSING ONLINE REPORTING

The 2024 Charge Conference reports on Mission Connect are now live here. You can access it using the same login that you use for Ministry Financials: the username that is your church number. If you have issues with the login, contact Chris.

CHARGE CONF CHECKLIST

This is where you will submit your charge reports.

There are a few things different for this year, as we continuously upgrade our electronic record-keeping system.

Online Reports have a big blue button. They can be typed directly into just when you enter the end of year stats. If you would like to print off a blank form, those are available at the top of the page, under the link that says, “(Fillable version of Online Forms)”.

Pdf reports have a blue underlined link. They are a fillable pdf that can be downloaded, completed, and uploaded like last year. Please do not use any apostrophes in the file name. Please DO include your church name in the file name.

2025 Committees of the Church: According to ¶ 249. “Election of Leaders —The charge conference…shall elect upon recommendation by the committee on nominations and leadership development of each local church on the pastoral charge… at least the following leaders…
1. Chairperson of the church council
2. The committee on nominations and leadership development.
3. The committee on pastor-parish relations and its chairperson.
4. A chairperson and additional members of the committee on finance; the financial secretary and the church treasurer(s) if not paid employees of the local church; and the trustees…
5. The lay member(s) of the annual conference and lay leader(s)
6. A recording secretary
Please have the Committee on Nominations prepare a document with the above and any other leadership, turn it into a pdf, and upload it at “2025 Committees of the Church”. Note: Pastor/Staff Parish Relations Chairs, Lay Members to Annual Conference, and Alternate Lay Members MUST have an email address to fulfill their responsibilities.

LOCAL CHURCH LEADERSHIP

Local Church Leadership is also now live and it is just like last year. Positions with asterisks are required. Clicking on the white arrow to the left of any position will reveal their contact info. Again, Pastor/Staff Parish Relations Chairs, Lay Members to Annual Conference, and Alternate Lay Members MUST have an email address to fulfill their responsibilities. Please review your leadership and contact info, then check the box at the bottom after making any changes.
